🎸 Wayne Green and the Phantoms: Fifty Years of Rock and Roll Culminate in One Final Show
Wayne Green and the Phantoms will ignite the Rosemount Hotel on Saturday, December 20, 2025, for their last-ever performance.
Born from a Fremantle garage jam in 1975, the band exploded onto Perth’s scene with a legendary debut at Raffles Hotel in 1979.
Known for chaotic, life-threatening shows and a raw garage rock sound, they packed venues across WA during their three-year reign.
“This will be my last time with the Phantoms,” Green said, “No more comebacks, this is it. So, I wanted to play with artists that I love, whose music I listen to and who are the future of rock and roll in Western Australia. After this night, I’ll be the past, so I want to show people what the future looks like, pass the baton if you will, and I’m so happy with who answered the call.”
Green’s comeback promises no encores—just one final, incendiary night. Joining him are RATSALAD, The Shakeys, and Abbe May (Solo), artists who represent the future of WA rock.
This generational lineup will deliver a night of pure, unfiltered rock history.

RATSALAD, formed in 2019, have dominated WA’s punk scene, winning four consecutive Song of the Year awards and touring Europe in 2025.
Their debut album Bent Trees & Swanny Deez captured the spirit of Aussie pub punk, earning acclaim across the northern hemisphere.
The Shakeys, a female-led garage punk powerhouse, have toured Japan, supported legends like Guitar Wolf and Spiderbait, and won Best Punk/Hardcore Act at the 2022 WA Music Awards.
Abbe May, a multi-award-winning solo artist, blends alt-rock, blues, and electronica with fearless lyricism.
Her critically acclaimed album Fruit and iconic performances make her a fitting torchbearer for WA’s rock future.
