Hey there so you want to post an event. Cool, it’s easy, just follow these steps and you will have no problem having your event published.
In the main menu, select Post an Event.

If You can’t see the form, just scroll down the page. Simply fill in the details then hit preview.
Event title
Add a captavating title for your event. Something that will stand out amongst the crowd.
Event Type and Category
The event type will help site visitors narrow the search for your event, and make sure your event goes into the roght pigeon hole. So make sure your Concert or Performance is not listed as a Dinner or Gala.
The event category will also help visitors find you, the category is different to the type so pick a category that suits your industry, such as Fashion and beauty.
Online Event
If you choose Yes for an Online Event, a number of details will be removed from your event, such as address etc, this is good for events like a webinar, online course, etc.
If your event is an in person event choose no.
Event tags
You can add tags to your event, this is optional, but again helps people find you. Some great Tags might be Pop Music, Ropck Music, Sales Speech, you get the idea.
Home Grown
This is a Yes or No, If your Band, event, or what ever is from Australia select yes. It lets people know your from here!
Zip/Postal Code
If you don’t know your post code simply start with a suburb name, then state, then a single digit, NSW 2, WA 6, SA 5, Vic 3, QLD 4 etc, and the auto update should get you the details you need, select the one you want and we can move along!
Event location
W need the location, unless you chose Online Event. Simply start typing the location, such as Mojo’s Bar Fremantle. Again the auto update will find the address and location for you, Simply select your location.
It sis important to get the correct location as this is what appears on the map.
Event Country
Select your country, you might be embarking on a global tour, or you might be hosting a market in New Zealand. Our map is global, and round(ish).
Event Banner
This is the main Picture for your event. We will use this to create your event thumbnail during the approval process. No Image No listing.
Desccription
This is the bit where you get to tell the world about your event, you can use links if you like, But remember keep sentances to around 20 words, and Paragraphs no longer than 300 Words, And use headings and sub headings to let people know all about you.
Registration Email/URL
You can either put a link to your website or your email address, if these details are missing you cant post, and if the email address looks suspecious, or the web link does not work, neither will your listing.
On a listing Viewers get to see a button to register for the event, this is where they will get sent to. So do not put personal Email Addresses here.
Video URL
If you have a video clip of your event or a past performance you can add it here, the link must be workable, so only link to good sources, such as YouTube or Vimeo.
Start / End, Times and Dates
This helps let people know when to turn up! MAke sure you set correctly.
Ticket Options
Let peeps know if your event is free or Paid, If you select Paid, you will have an option to put a Ticket Price, such as $20.99 or Gold coin Donation.
Registration deadline (optional)
If you want people to register by a set deadline.
Event re-occurance
This is a bit tricky, but if you have re-occuring events you can select from the drop down.
Daily – Repeats every few days, you can select how many.
Weekly – Repeats every few weeks the amount you can select. You can also select which day of the week.
Monthly – Same as weekly but you can set a specific details such as every third Wednesday.
Yearly – Similar to daily, but you can say repeat every year.
Custom Dates – You can set custom dates which is so much easier.
Custom Weeks – Don’y use this one.
Repeat Until – This allows you to set how long you want to have your listing, If you have a market that operates every Saturday, you can run the listing for a year if you want.
Organiser Details
If you have been set up as an organiser you can select your name here. This helps if people want to go to more events that you have organised!
Venue Details
If you are an organiser, and you have listed venues, you can choose it here, the venue will appear at the bottom of the event.
Preview Your Listing
Select Preview so you can see how your event will look, if you are happy, hit the submit button. We will recieve your submission, and check it over. If everyhing is good, we will publish your event withing 24 – 48 Hours.
