Fremantle Buffalo Club

The Buffalo Club is a place of solidarity for workers, artists, and the grassroots community. The club regularly hosts art and music, and offers space for community hire and functions. The club was held by the Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes from 1938 until being incorporated as a not-for-profit in 1964, and is now run by members elected to a volunteer committee. Membership is affordable and anyone can join.

Over the decades, The Buffalo Club has lodged a fraternal order, served returned servicemen, held union assembly, and hosted live music. It has been the second home of dock workers, diggers, darts leagues and punks. More than ever, it is a space for different generations to share a pint, a conversation, and a game of billiards. Our membership is growing and the club’s purpose is being renewed.

Join us at the Buff, making new friends in the old world.

Buddy’s Bar

After 49 trips to Bunnings, 1,428 hours of missed sleep, 39 sets of helping hands, and 193 hours of “how do you build…” youtube videos… buddy’s, Sydney’s first self-serve boozery officially opened in January 2023.

We wanted to provide a quality, but very unique offering and we feel the self-serve system does just that. we designed the space to be as engaging & interactive as possible to create that room-filling energy that makes you want to smile and cheer the person next to you.

Our goal is to try and break down the barriers against having a yarn with a friendly stranger. when pouring your own drink from the selection of 30+ taps, you’ll find it hard not to strike up a convo with the stranger on your shoulder, asking them what beer wine or cocktail they just poured and can recommend.

Buddy’s is a welcoming space for people to catch up with old friends. a place to meet new friends. a place to enjoy good food, good wine, good beers & good cocktails and… a place to dance.

here’s to good times with good people!

Cheers!!

MOJOS

Mojos is a one-of-a-kind live music venue and hi-fi listening bar in North Fremantle. It’s a second home for creatives, artists, misfits, the young, the older, the wild and the tame, but most of all, the music enthusiast. It doesn’t matter if you fit the bill or colour outside of it. If you love music, you’re in the right place.

Since the first gig in the 1970’s, our iconic North Fremantle site has had a special history. For over fifty years, it’s been a place where live music has reverberated and counter culture has been celebrated. Once The Stoned Crow, it became Mojo’s Bar in the early 1990’s. Since then the venue has hosted incredible international and national acts, along with many West Australian locals destined for greatness. The intimate, rollicking 200-capacity venue is first-pick for emerging artists, national legends and international touring acts alike.

Homegrown icons such as The Triffids, John Butler, Tame Impala, CW Stoneking, Abbe May, The Stems, San Cisco, Spacey Jane and Stella Donnelly graced our stage from their beginnings. History has and always will be heavily thrummed through these walls.

In 2024, the venue expanded to include a hi-fi listening bar. If there’s no live music, patrons can still soak up the closest thing to it through our vintage JBL 4344 speakers and our thousands of eclectic and diverse records selected by our curators. The switch to analogue instead of Spotify’ing our way through the day is a purposeful ode to Mojo’s commitment to music and the artists who made it.

We are also deeply committed to inclusivity and diversity in all areas of our venue. We are incredibly proud of our elite production team and our dedicated music lovin’ staff. It’s our mission to make all feel welcome; for artists and guests to feel safe and respected and to make this space special for all.

Step inside and feel everything else fall away – we are here for the love of music.
